Kevin Grealis specialises in hybrid claims, i.e., personal injury claims where medical treatment worsens the outcome. This occurs most often in cases involving spinal injury and brain injury. He is one of the UK’s leading litigation lawyers with more than 30 years’ experience in serious and complex personal injury and clinical negligence cases. He is an honorary panel member of the UK charity for patient safety and justice, AvMA and is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury panels. Kevin has held several high-profile roles at the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, APIL, and is currently the Co-coordinator of the London Regional Group.
Kevin is well known and recognised in Chambers for his cross-over cases and ‘specialist hybrid’ practice – where there is an accident resulting in serious personal injury and then subsequent clinical negligence in the injured party’s treatment.
