Kimberley is a Senior Associate in the Group Actions team and specialises in environmental group action private nuisance claims, working alongside Partner, Stephanie Eedy.

Kimberley joined Hugh James in 2007 as a paralegal in the Indemnity and Corporate Risk team defending road traffic, employers’ liability, and public liability claims. Kimberley secured a training contract with Hugh James in 2010 and qualified in 2012 as a solicitor within the environment team.

Kimberley has considerable experience of dealing with private nuisance claims involving allegations of dust, odour, and noise nuisance. Kimberley has been involved in several high profile, complex and large group action claims representing communities throughout the UK. Kimberley also specialises in dealing with private nuisance claims involving personal injuries and claims involving allegations of negligence against sewage treatment works. Kimberley has secured compensation for affected residents and an end to the nuisance which they suffer.

Kimberley currently represents over 500 claimants across the UK who are blighted by various forms of environmental nuisance from a wide range of commercial industries. Kimberley is the lead solicitor, working alongside Partner Stephanie Eedy in two complex High Court group action claims, involving dust from an industrial site and odour nuisance from a composting facility.

In addition, Kimberley’s experience includes dealing with recovery claims on behalf of insurer clients.
