On 4 July 2019, an open letter from the chief executive of Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service was sent to UK charities regarding the status of the paid for notification service provided to charities notifying them of bequests left in wills. Our charities team, on 5 July 2019, recorded a podcast to touch upon the current position of the service, the likely impact of the new service on charities, as well as what the long term future may hold.
