Mr Trevor Radford sadly passed away in May 2012.
Trevor’s widow has instructed specialist industrial disease lawyers at Hugh James to investigate how Trevor’s employment at the steelworks may have contributed to his Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) diagnosis.
Trevor Radford worked at Port Talbot Steelworks for around 26 years between 1954 and 1980.
It is understood that Trevor Radford was working in conditions surrounded by dust and fumes from the Steel works during his career as a Rigger at Port Talbot Steelworks for over 26 years.
It is understood that as a result of Trevor’s exposure to fumes and dust at Port Talbot Steelworks he suffered from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
Mr Trevor Radford’s family have now launched an appeal to try and trace former colleagues of Trevor Radford in the hope they can provide further information about the work he undertook and the conditions whilst undertaking those roles.
Trevor’s family are keen to hear from any of Trevor’s former colleagues from Port Talbot Steelworks about the work he carried out and the work conditions in which he worked.
