Hugh James, has advised on the acquisition of the transport consultancy business Flash Forward Consulting Limited by transport analytics group Tracsis PLC.
Tracsis is a leading provider of software, hardware, data analytics/GIS and services for the rail, traffic data and wider transport industries, headquartered in Leeds. London-based Flash Forward Consulting was established in 2012 and operated predominantly across the rail and bus sectors.
As part of the acquisition, a new business unit called Tracsis Transport Consultancy will be created, comprising Tracsis’ existing Rail Consulting and Passenger Analytics businesses with Flash Forward Consulting. The new Tracsis branding will now apply to all units.
The consolidated business will deliver an expanded consultancy offering to customers across the transport sector on and will offer products and consultancy services that cover all areas of the Tracsis Group, both in the UK and overseas.
Lawyers in the Hugh James Corporate and Commercial team, led by Partner, Greg Williams, supported Alex Warner, owner of Flash Forward Consulting on the multi-million deal, providing advice on the sale of Flash Forward Consulting and the continued ownership in the enlarged Tracsis Transport Consultancy business unit.
