Hugh James lawyer elected to top role of national organisation

Pauline Roberts of Hugh James, has stepped up to take a seat on the executive committee of a national not-for-profit campaign group committed to injured people.

Pauline, a Chartered Legal Executive in our personal injury team, will join leading lawyers on the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) executive committee:

“A role on the committee will be both challenging and rewarding and I am looking forward to making a meaningful contribution. I look forward to campaigning for change, to improve safety standards to prevent needless injuries. I intend to actively contribute to making improvements in personal injury law to prevent injustices and to improve the route to redress for the benefit of victims of accidents.”

The association is made up of 3,500 members who are dedicated to improving the law for people who have been made ill or injured through no fault of their own, helping them receive the justice they need to put their lives back on track.

“I strive for recognition and fair treatment for those injured by the actions of others,” said Pauline.
