Prestigious award win for our Private Wealth teams

Our Private Wealth teams scooped the prestigious ‘Solicitor Firm of the Year: National’ at last night’s British Wills and Probate Awards 2021.

Colleagues, representing the teams, attended the ceremony, which took place in-person at The Grand Hotel in Birmingham on 21 October. The awards were also beamed live to an online audience – with over 800 people in total attending the hybrid event.

The BWAP awards, as they’re known, recognise and celebrate the success of all those involved in the wills and probate sector. Last night’s achievement is well deserved for our colleagues working in our Trusts and Estates Administration, Wills and Estate Planning, and Contested Wills, Trusts and Estates teams.

Speaking of last night’s win, Partner and Head of Trusts and Estates Administration, Eleanor Evans, said:

We’re absolutely delighted to have won. The last year has been extremely busy and challenging for private client lawyers, and it is fantastic for Hugh James to achieve recognition at a prestigious national awards ceremony, for the hard work put in by our teams.

You can find out more about the awards, and a full list of highly commended and winners on the Today’s Wills and Probate website.
