Our specialist Asbestos team have been instructed to pursue a civil compensation claim on behalf of Mr Peter Fraser.
Peter was diagnosed with the asbestos-related condition, mesothelioma in July 2020. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 88 in August 2020.
Peter had several types of jobs over the years however during his lifetime he was only able to recall being exposed to asbestos with one former employer.
On leaving school in approximately 1947 Peter worked for Standard Motor Co Ltd which were based in Coventry. He recalled to his family sweeping up dust at the factory which may have contained asbestos from the construction and engineering of motor vehicles.
Peter’s loved ones are now asking any of his former colleagues from Standard Motor Co Ltd in Coventry between the years of 1947 and 1961.
Peter was too ill to provide instructions to us at the end of his life and although he was able to discuss his asbestos exposure with his family it is now vital that his former colleagues, who would have first-hand knowledge of the working conditions at Standard Motor Co Ltd are located.
