Witness Appeal: Kings Lodge Children’s Home

I represent a client who was sexually abused whilst under the care of Birmingham City Council at Kings Lodge Children’s home.

My client was a resident at Kings Lodge during the 1980’s until the early 1990’s.

My client suffered years of sexual abuse at the hands of an employee at Kings Lodge.

The culture at the time of the abuse was not to speak out about child abuse. I frequently see survivors who are only able to speak out about the abuse they suffered years after it took place especially when there has been a period of grooming from a person in a position of trust. I am therefore seeking evidence in support of my client’s case.

If you or anyone you know was sexually or physically abused whilst in Kings Lodge Children’s Home and are willing to assist my client in their pursuit for justice or would like to have an informal discussion, please contact me on 07966738012 or by email Danielle.vincent@hughjames.com. We want to reassure all those who contact us we will deal with this in a sensitive and confidential matter.
